Why I love House Music/Scene: House music speaks to me on multiple levels; spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and politically. I love the creativity of the dance because it incorporates so many different styles and disciplines. In essence, you can dance however the music moves you. You can dance with someone, but it is just fine to dance alone. House parties so much fun because there are a significant amount of people who are there for the love of dance and music – pure passion right in front of your eyes on the dance floor. The House scene embraces every one of all backgrounds and age which I love, but it is also a Black thing and that makes me so proud. ~peace & hair grease~
