Peter 'HouseHead Pete' Winfrey

Although Born in Washington D.C., Pete grew up in the City of Boston constantly surrounded by music... literally. In every room of his house there was a radio, piano or other source of rhythm. This would continue throughout his life and music would prove to help him through the tough and help him celebrate the good. His record collection was actually started by his Father, a teacher of music appreciation and director of the Kuumba Singers of Harvard / Radcliff. Pete's contributions started when he was only 12 years old. The collection now spans many years and many styles of music. Pete's knowledge of music continues to grow as he adds to almost 10 years of putting music together for appreciative dancers and listeners
